Shortcut Question

Right I know I probily sound like a complete idiot asking this but....
How can I put a shortcut to home/dudeking/dudeking on my desktop in gnome?
I've got one to my home folder but I need it to go to /dudeking

Thanks

You can either open up nautilus (the file browser) and 'drag&drop' the folder on your desktop, or open a console and run 'ln -s /home/dudeking/dudeking /home/Desktop'. There are also other ways, but these two would be easiest for your setup.
