analogue to video conversion

I have a mesh matrix64 3000fx running SP2.
I want to convert VHS to Digital. I have installed Dazzle DVC 90 but when I try to use it the PC crashes a few seconds after I select "capture". I am getting no help from Pinnacle.Does anybody have any ideas?
