How Come...
...it took loads of work to get linux to play mp3's but I try to play a WMA thinking this is never going to play in a million years, but it does, didnt even have to change a thing....weird....
![]() Edit:- Oh also can some one tell me how to play DVD's I have software but it says I dont have a licence or somthing. Thanks

Most likely when you downloaded the codecs package, like w32codecs, it came with the all the stuff needed to play .wma files.
To play dvd's look for libdvdcss2, libdvdnav4, and libdvdplay0. I believe libdvdcss2 may be the only required one you need but the other two should be useful.

You can dowload it from http://developers.videolan.org/libdvdcss/
There should be a repository I believe that you could add to yast to get it easier. Or at least an rpm of it available somewhere.
