hi, i was told to come here after all the infections were cleared out and it still didnt fix aol instant messenger. here is all the work that was done...http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124951&page=2
so aim takes a long time to load, then it would not respond and then tell me that my connection is lost. Once i press cancel, i can sign back on like normal. i need help thanks.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling after all infections were cleared?
Also did you try dowloading a different type of aim messenger to see if it's working? Like aim express?

ok so i uninstall, reinstalled aim. It still takes a while to connect but it eventually does if i leave it alone for like 5 minutes.

hi, also is it normal to have 6 svchost.exe to be running? i find that the svchost for SYSTEM usually takes up the most memory usage

Well mine takes a while to connect also.. but eventually it's working.
Now regarding your other post not sure but can you put a HJT log at Cyber Safety forum to be checked, i believe something is wrong with 6 exe...
