do anyone know how make the scroller in the middle of the mouse work

I usually use the finger next to my thumb.
O.K. seriously now what make/model of mouse?
Are you able to move the wheel in the middle and nothing happens?
What OS are you using?
Is this a Mac or P.C.?
Try going into mouse properties and assign the middle wheel the universal scroll function.
