Strange, im on a wireless network aswell. What firewall are you using because WLM (Windows Live Messenger) has more features then 7.5 and your firewall could be blocking... Also is your firewall inbuilt on your router or software on your computer?

yeh the firewall is built into the router, plus i have the basic windows firewall oon this pc.. but i don't think it is my pc because a friend came round and he had WLM and he signed on and he cut him off immediately too.. and the network had to be reset.. so i am guessing it is something in the router or modem or whatever.. you reckon you could help me mate?
