I am not computer savy. I just want to look at toyota.com and it won't let me because I do not have a "Macromedia Flash" player. I tried to install it like the site suggested I should do, and even after I've suposedly installed it, I can't view the website. It said it was a 30 day trial and I've never downloaded it before. Yes I've tried to restart my computer - and nothing. Is there a way I can see the website without flash? I think this whole flash thing is going to make a lot of people angry. I'm not even mad at the flash people; I'm mad at Toyota for requiring you install something before letting you view their website. You know how many people will click their "back" button and just forget about seeing what's on that website? I can't get to a lot of websites because of this. Please help!

Hi and welcome to CTH.
Sounds like you have installed a demo of the flash "authoring" software, not the web browser plug-in flash "player" software.
Go to this page and see whether it thinks you have it installed.
http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/

A good web design will have a non-flash alternative, Toyota.com has their entire menu & content system built in Flash & javascript which will lose them many potential web customers
