Flash Professional 8 problem w/ preloader

Hey everyone, I just made a document (850x150), and its has two scenes. scene "loader" has a peloader and "a" has main content (song in library, titles, pictures, etc...). Now, whenever i try to load the movie, i get the default background color (i made it green so I could see any "holes" in the picture) and i wait for about 30 seconds, see the preloader for half a second and then it jumps to the movie fully loaded...

How come my preloader just gets completly skipped??

Hey guitarist809 - I'm going to move this to the "website & graphics" forum where I think you'll get a better response.

guitarist809, I assume this is when you're watching the movie on the internet - that would explain the 30 second wait?

In order to answer why the preloader isn't working, you're going to have to give a little more information. What Actionscript are you using for the preloader? Is your preloader just some text saying 'loading', or is it a bit heavier?

What do you have as your main scene? Is there anything there yet?
