Welcome to CTH

it should be simple
rightclick in a empty spot on your desktop screen, and choose properties.
then you get to the settings flag, and choose the resolution you want.

I know, some systems have a tray icon (bottom right) that launches the videocard control panel. If you don't have it, no problem...
(no systray icon for that is actually a blessing since it frees resources... you always have above method, see?)
