lan problem help!

hi my name is cory and this my first post. He recently got a laptop used its a dell inspiration . We had wireless internet on it before , thanks to geek squad. But the computer crashed and we have to start it up agin. when we try to connect to the internet it shows that it reads to modem but cannot gain acess to the internet. it ask for a paraphase and a wep key. But i dont know where to find them on our desktop. our router is a Linksys wireless -g 2.4 ghz . can any one help ?
