Has Hotmail dropped or altered their spam filter? For the last few weeks, I've been getting a bundle of spam - and it's not the discrete type either, but really obvious stuff - emails with blacklisted words like "viagra", in plain english, in the subject line, emails with obvious malicious attachments, etc. Emails that you'd expect even the most basic of spam filters to block.

I've checked the junk filter settings, nothing out of the ordinary there. The filter still works, because there's the usual amount of spam in the Junk E-Mail folder - but these obvious ones that are slipping through are really annoying. It's almost as if they've downgraded the filter?

Edit: I also wanted to add something about Windows Live Mail, for anyone who uses it: Are you aware that the license agreement legally requires you to provide feedback on it?
Recipient agrees to provide reasonable feedback regarding the Product to Microsoft, including but not limited to usability, bug reports and test results (collectively “Feedback”).

Here's another interesting line, for the legal eagles out there:3. COST OF TESTING. There is no charge to Recipient for testing of the Product. Microsoft shall bear all direct freight expenses relating to the shipment of the Product to Recipient’s place of business and Recipient will pay any return freight expenses.Does this mean MS will pay for the cost of you downloading the content of Live Mail?
