my pc just died. something happened to the fan and there was a meltdown or something. i was just wondering if there was a way to get it fixed? or would it be easier/cheaper to just buy a new computer altogether?

.....and another 'WELCOME' :)

Chances are your processor fried. First, you need to figure out why. Obviously, the fan needs replacing as well. Unless this is an old machine, and you're made of $, you'll be better off fixing it yourself. And, we can help!
