question?

can anyone tell me why my pc has recently developed an annoying habit?
when I'm using internet explorer, I get this message periodically telling me that internet explorer has encountered an error and needs to shut down?
I press ok and the browser homepage reappears etc, then a little later it comes up again?
there seems to be no reason for it and it appears to be random, although I have noticed it more when I change pages etc?
it's not really a problem, but it's bloody annoying!

The most common cause of Internet Explorer doing strange things is spyware.

Your best bet is to read this post (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86677) first about how to get and use Hijack This.

Once you have a Hijack This log, don't try to fix anything, just start a new thread in the Cyber Safety forum (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25) and paste your Hijack This log in for the experts there to analyze and help you get rid of any spyware or other malware that may be present.

The Cyber Safety experts are always busy but they will get to you so please be patient.

I have however re-installed IE6 and the problem seems to have stopped?......... for now. :hmm:
