Can't connect to internet after Recovery

I recently did a full recovery on the computer. So its fresh WinME on there. I'm trying connect to broadband. I thought it was plug n play. I didn't have problem before the recovery. What settings should I be trying to fix, or maybe something not working right. NIC card works, status lights blink, but i get "can't display page" Anybody have some suggestions what I should be doing?
