oops
I recently bought a 1gb flash drive.
However when i went to use it on a Windows 98 system i plugged it in and tried to use it before installing drivers off the net. Now it wont work no matter what. It is showing in my device manager but says that the correct drivers are not installed for it. I know this is my own fault but any help would be great. Thanks |

Remove the drive - boot the system - check the device manager - if it shows up, remove it.
Recycle w/o the device - install the drivers (recycle if needed) - then install the device, see if it works now. Questions 1. Is it a USB 2.0 device? 2. Are you running windows 98SE? 3. If it is a USB 2.0 device, does your motherboard support that version? |

I agree with what "winsong" states: Recycle w/o the device - install the drivers (recycle if needed) - then install the device, see if it works now.
Here is a useful link to what appears to be your problem: http://www.microdia.com/ebiz/jsp/sit...microflash.jsp |
