Exclamation Low disk space

Hey, I have a windows ME, 20 GB hd, 128mb RAM, Pentium 3. Everytime I am On the computer a stupid yellow box comes up from the bottom right of the screen saying low disk space and you have to click on it to make it go away but then it brings you to disk cleanup. It says I need at least 200mb free on my hd to ensure system reliability. I uninstalled all my games which was alot of memory and all the applications I didn't need but the next day the yellow box popped up again. Then I deleted more files and the memory was free for a while but if filled up again. I have run a scandisk and disk defragment and cleaned out all the cookies, internet history, temp internet files and everything like that but the problem still occurs. What could be wrong?

Double click on My Computer. How many hard drives/partitions show up? Click on each one and report on the amount of free and used space.

you need around 15-20 percent of your drive free for it to operate efficently. You need space for all the temporary files you create when you are running programs, going online etc. You need space for virtual memory since you do not have much ram. IMO, you need another harddrive.

System restore point can take up a heap of space, right click my computer>system restore tab and adjust the slider from 12% to 3%. Apply>OK
