ejecting devices?!

Whenever I go to install a new program from 2 or more discs, my computer ejects the CD-ROM DRIVE. I can't press the buttons on the CD drive at all. Then it tells me that it isn't safe to eject hardware without the proper ejection software found on the bottom of my screen. I did NOT eject anything; my COMPUTER did and told me that I did. I've been trying to install programs like that many times. All have been failures in the attempt.
Can someone please help me disable the auto-hardware-eject feature of my computer?

I'm not trying to block the CD from popping out... I'm trying to stop the computer from rejecting and shutting down the CD_ROM drive. :dizzy:
