computer won't boot

I recently had my hard drive replaced. Now have one larger. Since having new hard drive my system is slow booting. will boot 1 out of 15 or so tries. Checked fans on inside to be sure computer isnt over heating both fans work fine, What can I do to fix this? It needs to be something fast as computer locks up after about 7 min. have to turn off at power source and turn back on several times before I can boot. Moniter goes from green light to orange when the system isn't going to boot. Moniter works fine when it boots up.
What have they done while installing new drive and os. Have the os disks but not sure if that is what it needs. HELP . . . . . .

computer wont boot at all now. . . . I disconected all cords and reconnected to be sure there wasnt a connect issue. . .
