I was playing around with one of those graphic pads (wacom) at work and was surprised as to how much easier it is to use than a mouse. You can use the pen that comes with it and go from location to location without having to drag it like a mouse. Its almost like using a touchscreen monitor. I am seriously considering getting one for xmas :D

Any one here ever use one, if so what do you think?

wacom graphics tablets are awesome. my advice is to make sure you get one that's large enough for you to work comfortably, especially if you plan on using it for graphics applications.

I have a Wacom Graphire 2.....

I love it for graphics work...but could never get used to navigating with it like one would with a mouse. In fact....when using it inside a graphics program...I still use the mouse to control the menus and controls...and use the pen for the actual "painting".

I imagine with enough practice....I could use the pen for both....
