Desktop Saved Files

Anyone out there, I need to know how to delete a saved file on desktop that I saved when I deleted Mcafee from my registry. I saved all to desktop before deleting Mcafee from registry incase I deleted something by mistake and would need to put it back on, and now I need to know how to delete that file.:rotflmao: :dizzy: :D THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saved all to desktop before deleting Mcafee from registry
Those would be *.reg files (registry files).

Are there not icons for these registry files showing on your desktop? Right-mouse click and select Delete.

To delete more than one file, click-once on one file then hold down the
Ctrl key on your keyboard and click the remaining files to be deleted.
When done selecting let go of the Ctrl key then anywhere over the highlighted
areas right-mouse Delete.

They go into the Recycle Bin so
to permanently delete them you right-mouse click the Recycle Bin and
"Empty Recycle Bin"
