Raid

I seem to be having trouble on getting my raid functioning. Well, okay. I'll just wrap it in an nut shell. I can't get it to mount. I am using an nvidia software raid.

Here is what I have done:
I have installed dmraid
$su
password:
/sbin/dmraid -ay nvidia (added device "/dev/mapper/nvidia_eijhffa")
cfdisk (formatted to NTFS. Unfoutunetly I still have XP pro)
mount NTFS ... /dev/mapper/nvidia_eijhffa1 (.... means that I forgot what I put)

I know that I am not doing this right, I just can not figure it out. Google and the man pages are not helping me.

Windows see's the raid device just fine. But I can not get Linux to mount it. I have an icon at "media:/" but it says only root can mount it. I also added the drive to fstab. Maybe I need to just figure out how to run "dmraid -ay nvidia" before the system wide mount. I'm not sure.

BTW, does anyone know if I can get windows to accept an 505GB FAT32 partition? I reather have the Raid as an Fat32 than a NTFS, since Linux can't write to NTFS. (well it can, but really buggy. I'd like to keep my data).

thanks
