ok so scan disk starts every time u restart ur computer to correct the errors. The problem is now scan disk starts every time i start windows! Even if i turn off the computer correctly! It goes on and when it comes to half in the progress bar it says:" Not enought memory to run scandisk. Please shut down some programs to free memory"
Well there are almost no programs running in the beginning when windows start! Only scan disk. So ive gto always to press cancel.
Any help?

Thx!

Hi Head Shot, download and install the Windows IDE Hard Drive Cache Package (http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/downloads/contents/WUCritical/q273017/Default.asp). Reboot and let us know if this helped.

Run Disk Cleanup and delete all Temp Files, Temp Internet Files and any others that you would like to remove.

When you have done this, boot into Safe Mode (see here (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/tutorial/article/how-to-boot-into-safe-mode) for more help if you need it) and run ScanDisk. Does it finish now?

CCleaner also works for this right?

It is not a program that I personally recommend Head Shot. I prefer to use Windows Utilities as there is less chance of error.
