Question need help

I are computer illiterate. I have a problem that I can not ask my 14 year old about ! I need to find out how I can find where he has gone on the internet. Had a problem on the 23rd and I need to see where he has been. I tried going to start/find/files and folders, but all I can see is that he was on-line that day but he did something so that I can not see where. It only shows a little box with a windows thing in it and behind that it has a number for each site. [2] [14] etc. Help !!!!!!! Like I said, I would ask him, but do you really think he will tell me. I am not a nosy mom, this includes a problem with a credit card. Bad friends ? Possibly.

Hi, and welcome to CTH. Sorry to meet under these circumstances, tho - hope he's not a big spender

There are several places to look, but if your kid's savvy he may have gotten rid of the trail. Start by letting us know which version of Windows you're using, and which browser (ie. Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.).

If your on IE go Tool>Internet Options>Veiw Settings>Veiw Files.

If there is nothing there then he is like me. Delete all the evidence.

Also try to click the History Button on IE (Looks Like a Clock moving backward[look for an arrow])

If thats gone then i would check ur Credit Card bills

As Zip said jokerwallace, let us know what browser you use and we will be able to trace the tracks. Hmmm... having said that..should we post the info and tell wllwnn?

If Ms. jokerwallace ever returns, perhaps a PM or two will suffice.
