Ipod Shuffle Not Playing At All

The green light on the front of the Ipod shuffle is on, but steady, it does not blink.

The battery light on the back does not come on at all. I have definitely let the Ipod charge in my USB computer (Windows XP OS) port long enough.

The device has worked before.

My hard drive had to be replaced, but I restored the Ipod software.

I wanna play my music

I bought my IPOD Shuffle just in June of last year. It appears that they do not offer support after 90 days.

In any case, how do I get a new battery, to see if that is the problem.

Does anyone know if it is possible, and if so, how to replace the IPOD Shuffle battery? I don't know what else to do to get it to work.

I went to the local Apple store....The guy there simply cleaned off the connector that plugs into the USB port, and it worked! Do I feel stupid or what? But at least I'm happy and stupid
