Could be the person doing the news is on vacation. If he's from Europe I hear in many countries there they get like 6 months vacation time a year unlike us here in the U.S.A. where were lucky to get a few weeks.

Sometimes I post news on the general discussions message base here (Or in the appropriate categorys) but i wish we had a seperate base for news,i dont like posting too many news articles in a row on any one base (It looks stupid and i agree with the staff on that matter)

I actually agree with you. :D My bookmark is straight to the forum bypassing the front page - including the news. It would be nice if there was a section in the forum for technology news.

Hey everyone

Just to update what's been going on in my life, my son was diagnosed with Cancer in May of this year. He is currently doing ok, just some rough spots but we are on our 5th treatment starting Tomorrow and hopefully there will only be one more treatment. We will see the Dr. on Monday to talk about his recent Pet Scan and discuss the results. Sorry I had to step aside I really hated to leave but I had to for now as this is consuming all my attention and also work is pilling up so I asked MishY to remove me from the staff due to the fact I cannot fulfill my obligation to the site and team.

Thanks for all the well wishes and support, we hope to come out of this 100% cured.

I'll stop back in when I can and let you know how things go.

Well just got the news from the Dr. that the Pet Scan came back negative and we should only need one more treatment after this one. Which means he should be cancer free and stay that way we hope. Thanks everyone for the kind words and prayers, I can't say enough what a great group of people we have here at CTH both members and staff. From here we will have to monitor him and he'll have to have check ups but I'm sure he will come out a winner. So thanks again, and I wish all of you good health and prosperity.
