The problem started when I installed MS Plus!95 and got a 'drivespace VxD and Real-Mode Drive are Mismatched' message on startup. While trying to follow MS knowledgebase article ID: Q134859 to solve this problem, I must have renamed an important dblspace.bin file to .old. When I rebooted, no cvf was found. While trying to remount using scandisk, i got a message that i need an updated version and thus had to reinstall Win3.1 & 95. I got scandisk to remount the cvf, but the cvf that used to be on the physical boot drive of c; is now on e:, i can't get access to some of the software. When I first compressed the HD, the cvf ended up on the PBD of c: and the host for c; showed drive H. How do i unmount e; and get it back onto c:. When i reboot now, i have to bypass the config and autoexe to get to Win95 and not Win 3.1 now on c:. If I unmount e; and then use scandisk at the dos prompt to remount, could this work? I'm afraid to try anything without some assistance. I've also had to reinstall some hardware drivers to get them to work again. Thanks again.

WOW I really don't know what to tell you with all those problems. Think I would just format, start over and only install win95 then plus. Maybe somebody else will come with an idea that's better.
