Common BIOS key sequences:
<Del>
<Esc>
<F1>
<F2>
<F10>
<Ctrl> + <Alt> + <Esc>
<Ctrl> + <Alt> + <s>

I found on this page (http://mazingerzeta.net/toshiba_satellite.html), posted by someone who has the same laptop: "To get to bios boot up and hit ESC, then F1."

Any laptop drive would work.. Just make sure you get one around the same size to avoid BIOS problems!!

If you go to the Toshiba website and search that system, it will tell you what can in the laptop as standard hardware!!
