Hello.I am running XP Pro, SP2, Norton system works and security bundle, Spybot and have counter Spy active. These are programs that I have run for a couple of years..

Tonight my Netscape booted up slowly and did not want to connect very well. I did a CCleaner and that seemed to make it work better.

In the last week or two, I have had a couple of stops with the blue screen and then it counts up or down to dump. I sent the error report to MS.It said it was a Windows stop error/ no solution/windows encountered an error and cannot recover/ cause was unknown device driver/messasge appears on a blue screen with error code information which goes by pretty fast and I tried to copy the code with little success.

I have not loaded any new programs recently but I did download some public domain audio booka at http://librivox.org/ yesterday.

I have run virus and security scans which showed nothing.

Regards,

Syl

Hi Sly,
Can you look in your system event log and see if there are any errors that seem to match up, time-wise? Right-click on My Computer, Manage, and look for event logs. There might be a good clue there.

I found it. I see that there were 3 system errors and 2 application errors.
None since though.
