I have a 1998 Dell PC that I installed Citrix on but I can't connect to my office's network.

I followed the steps you given to me by a computer support person at work:
Start, settings, control panel, double click on system, get sys. properties, click hardware, click device manager, click + next to Net adapters.

I was able to do this successfully. This is what showed up:

Existing N dis 2 Driver
Device type: Network adapters
Manufacturer: (detected net drivers)
Hardware Version: Not available
Device status the NDIS.VXD device loader(s) for this device could not load the device driver (code 2)
To fix this, click update driver to update the device driver

I clicked on update driver but nothing happened.

Does anyone have any recommendation for what to do now?

Thanks.

Hi. Welcome to CTH.

You will probably need to download the network adapters driver from the manufacturer's web site. You will need to determine the manufacturer for it first. Device Manager may have this information, or you can download Everest from the link below to get the info.

quickest option is to mail your sysadmin and ask him/her/it for the appropriate drivers to connect to your particular mainframe.

He'll probably send you an exe file that will also give you the correct mapping to go in your netlogon file.

Just pour your heart out to the sa and bow to their superior knowledge (you get my drift ;) ) and they'll be flattered and do it for you (even if the sa is a grade A dork). Works most times
