Assigning a network address.

Just updated a computer with SP2 and it is asking for windows activation key but, before I can reach the activation I need to assign a network address for this computer, I'm not certain as to what it is asking.

You should be able to bypass the activation for up to 30 days so you can get your networking in order.

Basically, it requires and internet connection to activate Windows.

I looked at the internet connection plug and the little thing that snaps it in place is broken, I think that might be the reason why it isn't working correctly.
