Problem with Installation of EZArmorAntiVirus

Hi one and all...Yesterday I tried to install EZArmor Anti Virus (a complimentary offering for Optimum customers). Optimum's site claimed that when you start the install of EZArmor, it would advise you whether and how to uninstall currently installed Norton Anti Virus software. It never did...and I should have known better.
EZ installed easily, but I have been in constant communication with EZ's help for problems incurred. They finally sent me an "uninstall" link for Norton. That did away finally with all the remains of Norton..but I still have/had problems..

I then uninstalled EZArmor.. tried my links...no luck....

So I am now without any antivirus program...waiting to hear from either someone here at CyberTech or EZArmor (a Computer Associates program)/

Until then....

My iwon email doesn't work properly. I have to type in a search for it and when I finally get it..the mail cannot be deleted or accessed even though I see it.
The games on iwon also don't work.

My excite email doesn't open.

I cannot get the contents of my "system restore"..only a blank page and I even have to go to "safe mode" to get to my "control panel", since otherwise I only get a blank page.

My Outlook Express seems to be working okay.

My favorites links do not work properly.

I have tried defrag. That didn't help.

I reinstated the items that were removed by Ad-aware the night before the problem started. That didn't help.

I reinstated Wild Tangent from the Spybot Search & Destroy scan of the night before,

I have probably forgotten to mention a few other problems, but you get the idea.

Does anyone out there have any ideas/suggestions to help me out of this nightmare?
P.S. Just now find that even the links on this site don't work...couldn't put in a smilie!
