Nero OEM 6 error

Hi all, AMD Duron 950 40gb ME, loads of memory. When I use the program to burn video files, sometimes I get "Nero has caused an error in NEROSCSI.DLL nero will now close". I dont have an SCSI drive in my rig. I reinstall software and without rebooting , it works OK. This is an annoying problem. WHADAIDO !
Thanks for any and all replies.
