ME crashes when Freedom security starts

I am new to the forum and need help.
When I start up my desk top shows up then it goes all white and a restore my active desk top box comes up. Then my Adelphia Freedom security pack (anti virus,spy ware pop up block ect) starts to open. When it gets to freedom is initializing it shuts everything down and goes to a blue screen. On the screen there is a grey box thst says CASV DVP in it and a message comes up saying Scan engine initialization has failed. Press any key to continue.
I have to do a manual shut down 4 or 5 times to get started. I can do this with my cable modem on or off. What should I do.
