Free AVG & Linksys router - moved by Tom

My router wa working fine until I installed the free version of AVG Anitvirus software. Any ides on how I can get my wireless network to work?

Uninstall AVG. Then do a system restore back to a date before you installed AVG.
Then get NOD32.

I unistalled AVG, but wa not able to restore to a previous time. Each time I tried I received the message "cannot restore". I tried several different dates that were in bold. Any other idea? Oh, by the way my router show on my computer that it is connected and excellent strength

You could try to use the last known good configuration option in safe mode or I would reinstall the router using that wizard thing or whaterver your router calls itself when you first connected the router.

Besides installing AVG did you do anything else around the same time? AVG really shouldn't be causing this type of problem.

Run ipconfig in a command window and post the info back here.
