I have a PC Concepts i-MMT ergonomic keyboard, model #SK-6000. Believe it or not, my cat walked across the keyboard and managed to somehow turn on the built in mousepad. I prefer using my standard independent mouse, but do not know how to turn off the mousepad in the keyboard. Any suggestions? Thanks,

Paul

Read this:
Your keyboard manual in .PDF format (http://64.143.175.20/docs/WaveTP50.pdf#search=%22PC%20Concepts%20i-MMT%20keyboard%20pdf%22)

The answer lies within (I think....)

Zipulrich; Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, my manual isn't anyplace where I can find it. The PC Concepts website isn't a whole lot of immediate help, either. I know it's just the proper combination of key strokes to turn it off, I just don't know which ones.

Did you click on the link I provided above?

Yes, I did. It didn't take me anywhere.

I didn't see it in there either, and... I can't even get on the website they mention in the manual. So, we will shotgun a solution here...
1. When you installed the keyboard, did you also install software? If so, it is probably listed in your All Programs area. Try going through that and see if you can find a setting.
2. Go to your control panel and look under the keyboard icon. Is there a setting there?
3. Go to your control panel and look under the mouse icon. Anything in there?

Roadrunner; Thank you. I disabled the mousepad under the mouse settings in the control panel. Another minor little headache solved. Zipulrich; thank you for your assistance, also.
