Hey this is such a stupid question, but I was wondering something.
I've done this before so I know it's not sooo hard.

In an email when you have a link to a webpage or something(I know how to make it a link)

I was wondering how I could make it a tab without the websites name on it(I want it to say something like click here or part of the name(without the http or www or .com)

Any Ideas??? :hmm:

You have to use html to do it, so you have to have your email program set up to do html rather than plain text.

also in order for it to work, the receiver must have their email setup for html. For security reasons, its best to put the full website url in the email. This way it will not look like you are trying to hide something.

Exactly as Renegade says... make sure people can cut and paste it somehow if they use text only email.

It doesn't make a link. I have HTML set up on my email, but it just won't do what I want it to. Any Thoughts?

Are you using Outlook Express or another mail client?

Can't you use URL tags like in this forum? I haven't tried it, im just throwing in ideas. Just get rid of that space inbetween the [ and URL. Put the address inbetween the "" and put the word you want to use as the link where hello is.

[ URL="http://www."]hello[/URL]

I sent it from my moms email to mine to see if it would work. I tried it several times, but this ( tickledpink (http://www.shoptickledpinkboutique)) is all that comes up. It has the link to the site that works, but I'd rather have a tab that just has Tickled Pink or something on it. I'm helping my friend start her site and she would love it if it wasn't the ENTIRE email, like http, www. that sort of thing.

My website has the kind of tab she REALLY wants, but if it's not possible that's ok, but it would be greatly appreciated.
