Lightbulb How To Password Protect A FlashDrive

Okay, so i realize there are lots of encrption softwares out there for the USB drive and i even have several. BUT i hate having to wait for it to encrypt and decrypt what i would like is a program that would make me have to insert a password before i can even open the flashdrive. Is there such a way????????

I don't think that is possible without doing some type of customization or installing something special onto the USB.

Yeah, I didn't find anything either. You could make the files hidden... it's a little bit more secure than having them out in the open and it would be fast.

Did you know that 90% of all laptop repairs can be avoided by regular cleaning? Just take a can of compressed air and clean the ventilation areas, fans, etc. Your computer will run cooler with fewer problems.

I have heard good things about folderlock. Never used it myself so dont know the difference between the free and the paid version

Yea, Thanks folderlock is about what i wanted. The free version only allows you 20 trys before you have to register. But... i like the fact that it works on usbs so i might buy it...
