View Full Version : gzipping a tarball in windows

I need to email my physics teacher my lab-report. I use windows, he uses mac, I need to send him a gzipped tarball attachment, but am having trouble gzipping something. I used 7-zip to turn my folder into a .tar file, but am not sure how to "gzip" it.

Yes, there is a gz zipped thing. Check out the program at gzip.org
