mp3 player downloads

Recently I downloaded some songs from windows media player for my mp3 player, and i did the 14 day free trial and the free trial recently expired, and I tried to play my songs on my mp3 player (already downloaded song on mp3 player before the trial ended) and it say can not find licenese and it wont play the songs, does the windows media player make there license expire on there songs after the free trial? Any help would be appreciated, by the way if it helps I have a creative, zen micro mp3 player.

I'm not sure I understand the situation.

Firstly, Windows Media Player is just that, software that plays media. You can't "download songs from it".

Secondly, MP3 files do not have DRM (ie. licenses, trial periods, etc), the format simply doesn't support it.

Here's what I think you mean: You downloaded some WMA (Windows Media Audio) files which were protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management) with a free 14-day trial period, after which the audio no longer plays and you must either delete it or pay for it. You transferred the songs to your Creative Zen digital audio player (which supports DRM'ed WMA files), and after the trial period ended, the files would no longer play.

Now if that's the case, there's nothing you can do other than get rid of them or pay for them. It is not Windows Media Player which expires the files, it's the files themselves which expire. WMP simply refuses to play expired media files, as does any other media player implementing Windows Media DRM (such as your Zen Micro) - they must do so because it's part of the licensing agreement they adhere to when they choose to support Windows Media files.
