Squirrels have attacked my movies

Hi there,

I have a problem that crops up with some of my AVI files now and again. People's voices, the music... actually, the entire soundtrack is more high-pitched than it should be, and everyone sounds like a chipmunk, or like helium was liberally passed out before the movie began!

Is there some way to fix this by slowing down the video and audio (to not only bring the audio to normal, but to sync it with the video, too!), or some video player that allows me to watch videos slower than normal?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Some of them are internet movies, but the vast majority are ones that I'm converting from some DVDs into AVI and MPG files. In either case, I get the squirrel problem.

I heard that my conversion problem could be something about the difference between 44.1k and 48.6k sound rates or something, but as for how to re-convert the afflicted internet movies, I have no clue what to do.

Chris
