Im not sure whether i should post this one here but anyways. I have visual basic 6 enterprise installed on my home and office pcs. There is no problem with the software but with the icons or pictures you add onto the form.
The icons mainly come with the 16 bit color look at my home but at work they come with normal 24 bit color. So i installed it on 2 other pcs at work both p4 like my home with 512 ram and 3.0ghz processor but icons still look like 16 bit color. The one which works is a P3 750Mhz and is 32mb graphics while the rest are 128mb. Shouldnt the p4 display the icons properly rather that the P3? The only thing different is all the other have the color property set to 32 true while the working one the P3 is 24 high

Maybe there are settigns that need to be changed to view them as 24 bit / 32 bit

Did some digging and found some people had this problem, they entire recreated the icons again. This stinks! I mean my application has many of them so i have to recreate all of them. There has to be an alternative to it.
I thought it must have something to do with vb6 professional and enterprise but it isnt. I used to see the icons properly somewhere in early 2005 i guess when doing projects from vb since then i had formated my pc thrice and the windows update have increased to. So not sure what was the actual reason
