Quicktime?

I'm wondering how safe this download is...quicktime 7..
Also,is it a good thing to add to your home 'puter,or will it cause problems??

Quicktime is a media player introduced by Apple Computers, you need it to see .mov files, and a few others. It is perfectly safe.
