Hello all,
I would like to remove compaq internet setup icon, inbox icon, and the microsoft network icon from my desktop. Is there an easy way to do this?

Right-Click, select Delete.

Inbox Icon? Are you using Outlook or Outlook express?

Hello degsy,
Since these icons were'nt shortcuts I wasn't sure what to do. I did it anyway. I did it with inbox too. So far so good. I use outlook express, or I should say I have it but don't use it. Is there a problem with just deleting inbox? Thanks for the help.

The Inbox icon is associated with Microsoft Mail & News and Outlook, not Outlook Express.

I was just wordering if you needed/used the icon.

If not, then it is safe to remove it.
