Hi Everyone,
It's my first time here, so I hope someone can help.
I have an 80G drive with two partitions. 30G for operating system and programs. 50G for the files.
It was time to clean out my operating system (it hadn't been done in a couple of years) so I formatted the drive like I normally do. Everything went as expected with all the stresses of installing the OS and various programs :cry2: . But after a short while I had a system again.
However, when I now go into my partition drive with the files I get a weird response when I try and access them. I can see all files, but whether it's is something as simple as a .txt file, to a .exe file, I get a message saying the path/file name is not valid.
Any ideas. I have some major important work on this drive... not to mention my portfolio CV (some of this stuff is backed up, but not all of it.)
Let me know. And thanks in advance.
