I am totally going crazy with this one. For some strange reason I can't seem to get any sound when I try to play cd's from my cd-rom. I have looked at the volume in every audio compartment, reinstalled the drivers, updated my directx, tried editing the registry but nothing seems to work. I can hear sound when I listen to music online but nothing from the cd-rom. Please help!

Did it ever work from the CDROM??? If not then maybe the audio cable from the CDROM to the motherboard or soundcard was never installed.

Yes it worked great before. It's when I used RealOne when all of a sudden it stopped working. I see the cd playing because the numbers are moving but I hear no sound.
