I got a computer, which i recently installed a new power supply to.
I installed the mobo drivers from the manufasturers disc, which I am to believe has a bios flash on it. (its a ASUS P4S800D-X mobo)

anway, I installed aWin200pro.
but now as i try to install more things onto it, I Cant.
reason being:
It RESTARTS Itself!!
sometimes, it restarts after 2 seconds, during the mobo screen.
sometimes it stays on for 2 minutes, while i am on my desktop.
and every other point in between.

I dont understand this at all, and im quite frustrated.
PLEASE HELP with any ideas anyone might have.
thanks

I had similar problems

Could be that your power supply is insufficient

go here to check - www.jscustompcs.com/power_supply (http://www.jscustompcs.com/power_supply)

Im not sure about windows 2k but in xp you can

Right click on my computer

properties

advanced tab

startup and recovery

and uncheck automatic restart

you should now get an error message instead of a restart
