tranxit ?????

I believe a program was deleted from my computer and ever since recieve when I turn on my computer I am warned that system ini is trying to locate or is missing something.
also mentions looking for a device for or has a device
c:\tranxit\pumir.386

c:\tranxit\pcomm2.386

I cannot find these should I have them? also do not know where to look or cant find system.ini. Can you help me remove this or fix whatever the problem is. Thanks

You don't give any system info, but I'll bet you have an infrared port on that machine.

Try downloading updated drivers for it here (http://www.gateway.com/support/product/drivers/software/tranxit.shtml).

Well, if ya ever get bored and want to try and screw up Windows click on Start, Run then type in sysedit. You'll see the system.ini file there. But seriously, be careful and always have a backup just in case.
