The C: folder loads at start up. I have tried to stop it through msconfig, but i don't see it in there.

Navigate to C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder either via Windows Explorer or My Computer. See if there is a "shortcut to C " listed there and, if so, delete it.

I checked and there was nothing there. The only things checked in system config is McAfee, my keyboard and system tray.

Okay..........try this.........
Open the registry editor (Start>Run key in regedit then click on OK or hit ENTER)
Navigate thru the following by clicking on the + sign to the left of each:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
When you have each of these items expanded, click on Explorer (NOT on the + sign beside it) under CurrentVersion. Now look for an entry in the right pane called DesktopProcess. If you see it there, right-click on it and then choose Delete. When it asks if you're sure you want to delete it, click on Yes.
Close the registry editor by going to Registry>Exit
Now restart and see if your C folder has stopped opening at startup.

You say "C: folder" loads at startup. What program is it that
is showing you "C: folder" at startup? If you aren't sure, all programs
have Help in the menu
click Help
click About
I think this one is going to say "Microsoft Windows".

This is easy.
You have your C:\ folder in start up, take it off by doing this:
1) Start
2) Programs
3) Start Up
4) Right click file thats there and delete
:D
