I value my sanity... so much! As a political leader it's important to be sane, and to remember what you did in the past 24 hours... so I want you to clear something up for me if you will.

The link on my signature is gone...
I doubt that I breached the forum rules, as I had cleared I prior problem up with a moderator yesterday concerning it and I was given consent to link to my webpage. And I didn't recieve an infraction notice. So I'm guessing I deleted it.
But here's the interesting part... I don't remember deleting it. And if I may propose something bold; that the website contains political and religious stances that some may not agree with, and perhaps it was deleted out of spite.

Thank you

And if this post is in the wrong place, or there's somewhere else I was to write to, I appologise.

No, it was not deleted out of spite. I received some complaints about it so I removed it. The complaints pointed out that the content of the site did not seem suitable for CTH. I agreed.

I did not remove the link from your profile page so those who are interested can access it from there.

However, I think it only fair to warn people that the site is full of ads, popups and popunders.

Ok. I respect that decision.
What I don't respect is not being notified, and it not being given guidelines on what I can put in my signature.

I'd also like to know why it was unsuitable

Hmmm....this morning, when I recived the complaints, I clicked on the link in your profile and ended up on a Satanism page. Is is possible your site got hacked?

I just tried it again and got something completely different.

Whatever happened, the site is apparently back the way it's supposed to be so I apologize. Feel free to add the link you have already cleared back to your sig line.

Lufbra: Yeah, the pop-ups occured when I linked people by my cjb.net URL redirection thingy.
People have been talking quite a lot about funny events unfolding when they click on welcomtomachine.cjb.net

If it makes any difference, I'd like to point out that YES there is a Satanism page on my website. It is 3 links deep on the website and is there for educational purposes.
Please note that Satanism takes many religious and non-religious forms. BUT it is a certified beleif and if I suffer any religious-bias I will do all in my power to retaliate.

Again, sorry for the thread, and sorry for the cjb.net screw up.

I don't think it's necessary to make threats about retaliation. People are free to seek out whatever they are looking for on the net. However, CTH prefers not to have links in its public forum to sites that the parents of kids who come here might find objectionable.

I like to think that this will put the entire matter to rest.

Seen as this is a more family orientated corner of the web, I'll obey your wishes not to publicly display my link. After all, more people visit my profile than click on a link on my signature.

But expect me to complain if I bare witness to links to theistic garbage I will make a point to lobby for its removal. I assume I'm well within my right to protect our younger generation from harmful images and concepts of shame.

As for the threat. I'm sorry if it came across as one. You have to understand that Satanists are subject to discrimination out of pure ignorance and if you were in my shoes, you would expect such a response.

Thank you for your help

Edit: Is my blog suitable? I may say the odd soft profanity from time to time, but if parents want to protect themselves against such things as profanity they really should have a Net Nanny program

After viewing your homepage, I agree with the sentiments expressed above. You should use a spell-checker, as it was tedious understanding what was written because of the misspellings. As well, the blue text on bright red background is extremely difficult for most to read - it may well put some people off from reading what's written.
We have a forum called Website & Graphics (link here (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=20)), with plenty of talented folks there to answer any questions you may have.
This is a computer help forum. Satanism, America's treatment of veterans, etc. are all wonderful topics but have no place here at Cyber Tech Help.

Most of the sites that I display the link to my webpage on have just as little relevence with the website as here. I consider this point of view to be very anti-Internet. And I assumed that I was not displaying the site because of it's Satanism page, and the lack of people's tolerance to different religions.

Thank you for pointing out the typos. HTML feilds do not have spellcheck.
Blue on red background. Do you mind telling me which page? This website is old and has went through some renovations in the past. Link me through PM if you don't want to link me here.

If I receive a complaint about a post, link in a post, link in a signature or anything else, I look into it. I take action in accordance with CTH rules, CTH standard procedure and common sense.

Since I cannot predict the future, I can only say that complaints I may recieve in the future will be dealt with on a per-complaint basis.

Since this thread is wandering away from the original question, this thread is now closed.
