I have dial up, and when i connect to the internet, it opens an internet explorer page that says "Action Canceled" or "This page can not be displayed", but when I open AOL and log on, I can view pages fine, I just cant view pages on Internet Explorer. And this is preventing itunes from connecting. When I try to connect to itunes it tells me "itunes could not connect to the itunes store. The network connection was refused."

I no, when I log on AOL i still cant use ie, I dont use AOL to connect to the internet, I have another internet dialer, then when I connect with that, I open AOL, and AOL works with websites, but internet explorer and aol explorer does not work, and itunes does not let me connect to the music store.

This problem has been happening for several weeks now

Im using Windows XP:D

its a longshot but see if iefix (http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm)will help. If it does not help and if you are behind a firewall, try disabling it and see if you are able to connect.

I tried to download the latest version of IE and that didnt work becacause of something about a validation tool and a validation code that didnt work.. and IE Fix didnt work for me either..

AOL always works when i'm connected to the internet and AOL explorer will sometimes work..but IE will never work for me.

I dont have any firewalls
